CPAP masks
An important component of the CPAP ResMed equipment is the CPAP mask system, which includes the CPAP mask and the air tubing. Air tubing is fairly standard, but CPAP masks (or CPAP headgear) hold the most competitive portion of the CPAP accessories. There exists a much broader range of comfort levels in current CPAP headgear systems than in flow generators and other RedMed equipment.
There are 2 basic kinds of CPAP masks:
Nasal CPAP masks for the majority of sleep apnea patients. These CPAP masks cover only the nose.
Full face CPAP masks designed for sleep apnea patients who breathe through their mouths - these CPAP masks cover the nose and mouth.
Respironics equipment offers various masks of botyh kinds.

Humidifiers
Sleep apnea patients have very different experiences adjusting to CPAP equipment. For some people it's an instant success. Once they use their CPAP headgear and sleep apnea machines, they never sleep without them. For other people, CPAP equipment may not be perfectly suitable, so they may require bi-level or AutoSet therapy. For people who feel at odds with their Respironics equipment, we offer additional humidifier that can greatly improve the patient's comfort and compliance to the therapy.

System One Humidity Control Technology analyzes ambient temperature and patient airflow to reach relative humidity at the mask. This prevents rain-out from occurring inside the CPAP tube. System One is the first solution in the industry that accounts for room humidity. Sensors inside and outside the CPAP machine closely monitor changes in humidity and prevents condensation from forming inside the tube.
